I’m Lexi, Director of DIYKE Ltd — a multi-disciplinary tradeswoman with a passion for delivering thoughtful, high-quality work.

With a background in commercial architecture, I’ve spent several years working on bar and restaurant projects from concept through to completion. My experience spans the full process: developing designs and visualisations to help clients see their ideas come to life, producing detailed construction drawings, collaborating on site to resolve joinery and build details, and carefully selecting colours, fabrics and finishes.

Making has always been central to who I am. I’ve long been driven by the satisfaction of turning ideas into something tangible, and I wanted my
day-to-day work to reflect that.

Since moving to the trades, I have worked on a variety of projects, with the majority focussing on restoration and renovation work. Problem solving has always been my main motivation for the work I take on; it motivates me towards varied projects and has helped me build a broad, versatile skill set.
